SASSA is going to be rendering solutions like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency claimed it truly is alarmed with regards to the substantial quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your large number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area regularly. The support place developed for intervention ordeals status sassa a large inflow of possible beneficiaries, that makes it difficult to the Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional resources to allow the servicing of all consumers and improve use of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
