The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to your community.
SASSA will probably be rendering services such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency reported it truly is alarmed about the significant quantity of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is certainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area each day. The assistance issue created for intervention experiences a higher influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it challenging for your office to attend to all people who go to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more sources to allow the servicing of all consumers and boost access to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
